Northern Sunset

Red Cedar Lake is a favorite place of mine. Here is one of a number of sunsets that I have witnessed. The cloud is consuming most of the sky, but there are enough breaks in it for the colour of the sunset to punch through and add some interest not just to the sky, but also to the reflection. Interesting that you've given more space to the sky than the water, whereas many people's instinct might be to pop the horizon in the middle. The colour of the sunset creates an interesting shape and overall this works well."
